Ceo (CHIEF EVERYTHING OFFICER)
Katrina is inherently motivated and inspired by travel for both work and pleasure. Born in Malaysia from a mixed heritage she spent her formative years in Hawai'i, including all four years in a high school up in the mountains of the Big Island's Waimea. She then pursued her Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Southern California. After graduation, Katrina decided to kick-start her career off at Foster + Partners in London where she realized her intense passion for interiors. She decided to go the number one ranked school for interior design, New York's Pratt Institute, where she graduated with distinction and obtained a Master of Science degree in interior design.
Whilst studying Katrina had an opportunity to intern at firms like Roman + Williams and LTW DesignWorks. Upon graduation she was offered a full time job as a designer at Yabu Pushelberg in New York City. There she learned to see a project through in its entire life cycle from concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation and administration.
Samples of her work include a heritage hotel owned by Bono and The Edge in Dublin, homes of Ben Stiller in Kaua'i and Gwyneth Paltrow in NYC, a Park Hyatt in Bangkok, a Four Seasons Residence in Shanghai, a Hyatt resort in Aqaba, high end apartments in Jakarta, a PR office, cafe and home renovation in Kuala Lumpur, a few new builds in Jeddah and an advisory gig on one of the biggest high end residential development projects London has ever seen.
